Head of survey department. Responsible
for a variety of projects including
acreage surveys, subdivisions, leasehold
surveys, construction staking, and
right-of-way projects.
Subdivision projects
recently completed include Shenandoah
Phases IV, V, VI, and VII in Elgin and
Northern Trails, Rob Roy, and Roseland
Addition No. 2 in Seguin. These
subdivisions comprise over 500 lots.
Some of the leasehold
projects included surveying over 50,000
acres of Union Pacific’s oil leases for
horizontal drilling program in Fayette,
Lee, Lavaca, and Austin counties. Also
surveyed over 15,000 acres of Swift
Energy’s oil leases in Fayette County.
Responsible for
construction staking on various road and
bridge building projects for Acme
Bridge.
For LCRA, surveyed 6,000
acre Powell Bend lignite leasehold in
Bastrop County and 10,000 acre lignite
leasehold in Fayette County, using State
Plane Coordinate System.
For Texas Department of
Transportation, performed route survey
and topography for seven mile bypass of
La Grange. This project included survey
of more than forty parcels of land for
acquisition. Also performed route
survey and topography for five mile
relocation of State Highway 71 in
Kirtley.
Performed boundary survey
for ROW acquisition at Fayette Regional
Air Center, as well as topographic
survey for Smithville Municipal Airport.
